My little girl dressed with LOVE. I have to admit this was my first time to use a pattern. Usually, I get an idea in my head and start cutting and sewing. I love the feeling I get when I look at fabric for the first time. I run my hands over it and hundreds of images go through my head of what I could cover, sew, or drape. I couldn't resist making a Spring dress using Paradise Garden in wine from Amy Butler's Love Collection. Wanting everything to turn out just right, and only sew one, I decided the best option was to use a pattern. I loved the way everything lined up in it's proper place. I think I will venture out and try a few more..... maybe just add my own embellishments.
